So. I'm really into taking picture, and i'm planning on moving up to a dslr from a point and shoot.
So i'm thing about a nikon d3000 and canon t3. Basically something under $500.
If you can convince me to go about a hundred higher, please do haha b.c. I feel like i shouldn't go too high with the price b.c. I'm a beginner.
Any pros and cons.
or maybe a degree up, nikon d3100 vs canon t2i? I don't know… Please help, Thanks!

First of all, we don't do "text speak" here. Learn to type English or stay off this forum, please.

This is probably the oldest question on this forum and we've answered it thousands of times. You can read earlier posts or believe this, there's no "better" when it comes to these two brands. They make the best equipment available so just pick one based on what you like.

The two current lower tier entry level cameras from Nikon and Canon are the Nikon D3100 and Canon T3/1100D

The higher tier entry level dSLR's (still under $1, 000) are the Nikon D5100 and Canon T3i/600D

Here is how the sensors compare between the D3100 and T3/1100D

Canon T2i is the best, but D3100 is 99% the same and at certain things even better. It's much more worth than D3000, as it has less noise, video, live view and faster AF.
