DSLR (nikon d3000) focus ring wobbles?

I have a Nikon d3000 dslr, the focus ring for this camera was fine until today when I checked it and it was wobbling. Please could you tell me what is causing this problem and how much it would cost to fix it.

How much to fix? Ask the store you bought your camera from. They will refer you to their Authorized Nikon Service Center. You may be required to present proof of purchase (receipt). Nikon is very territorial about service matters.

Depends on how old the camra is. Its probablt just lose from use!

If the lens is not focusing correctly, send it in. Most Nikkor lenses have a 5 year limited warranty

Which lens is this? The 18-55 and the mk2 have a very loose focus ring. The VR version should be tighter.
