Does this name sound professional?

I want to build a career in photography, I'm creating the blog now for future reference when I buy a Nikon D7000 (And yes, I know buying a better camera isn't going to automatically make me a photographer, I'm not one of those douches lol My current camera is just terrible quality)

But yes, I want to call the blog cameronkayphotography.
Does that sound professional or does it sound cheap and uncreative?

Cameron is my last name
Kay is half of my first name.

No cameron kay sounds cool, just remember, if your work is good, the name shouldnt matter.

A lot of people use their own names. I've got a friend who freelances in webdesign and he uses his own name as his business name, and that works out fine. So… Should be good enough.

Try either your first name or last name + photography, that way it will be short as well as easy to remember.

I like it. Better to me than some clever name. Any, your reputation for quality will be why someone hires you.
edit: Also, your name has the word 'camera' almost in it which is catchy.

If it says who you are and what you do, then you are smart…

creative names mean nothing…

Maybe actually start learning about exposure etc and get a camera and practice before you start calling yourself 'anything' photography.

Right now, you're just still dreaming. First, get the D7000 and try it first. If you don't get the hang of it, you may not want to continue with the blog.

"name"+photography is a very common initial thoughts of amateurs who just had their first very own camera (not necessarily a DSLR).

Nevertheless, nobody looks at the name if your shots are really good. I mean, who checks a website just because it has a cool name?
