I want to buy the d90 body and was wondering if it came with a screen protector.

The screen protector is not included in the official factory release package. When buying as a kit, the authorized reseller may include it along with the memory card (which is also not in the factory kit), to justify the higher price tag. To be sure, ask. If not included, you can buy one with it or from another store.
