Well like, it has like auto focus and like just turn off the like auto focus and like the manual focus will like work - like do you get it? No, we don't get like what your saying? You like have to do the
like focus yourself, you know like grab the lens focus ring and like turn it like.

Just a quick question, did you take english in school or is there some sort of new thing in the english language that like the rest of the english speaking world isn't aware of?

No, it does not auto-focus in Movie mode. You will need to focus using the focusing ring on the lens. However, the new D3100 and D7000 cameras do.
Camera-wise, it will auto focus - so long as you have an AF-S DX lens. But the camera itself does not have an auto-focus motor in the body.

The manual focus will NOT automatically follow focus. That is what auto-focus does. To actually follow focus, you need a more advanced camera like the D7000 to set your camera to the continuous focus mode with you lens set to auto-focus.

Entry level cameras are just that, under $1, 000. For more features, you need a more advanced camera

If you want a dSLR that has FAST auto-focus in video, then there are only two that do it.

Sony A33 and Sony A55.

They are MUCH faster than the Nikon and Canon equivalents.

Of course you will not hear that from Canon and Nikon users as they can't be bothered educating themselves about the latest Sony gear, the slow auto-focus on a D3100 is a joke!
