Does a Nikon Nikor 60=180 lens fits on a Nikon D3100 camera body?

I bought a Nikon Camera D3100 Dslr.
I want to buy a zoom lens type: NIKON IX NIKKOR 60 - 180MM f/4.5 - 5.6 ZOOM LENS MODEL 2027196
would this fit into the body of my slr
Regards

No. Nothing IX fits on any Nikon DSLR. These were made for the Pronea series of APS film SLR cameras. Pretty much a dead end system.

Had you purchased a Nikon D7000 or better (over $1, 000 for the body) you could use any Nikkor AF lens, used or new. With the entry level D3100, you will need to buy new or used AF-S lenses if you want to shoot using auto-focus.
You can buy AF lenses, however you will need to learn how to manually focus the lens using the electronic rangefinder on your camera
