Do you like the Nikkor 55-300mm vr lens?

I have the Nikon D3100 and i'm thinking of getting the 55-300mm vr lens.
Do you like it? What do you like/not like about it? Thanks!
Added (1). @ luke: why, is it bad indoors?

I used it on a friends nikon. For the price, it's pretty good, unless you want super sharp pictures. Very, very versatile with the zoom range. You might want to reconsider though if you're trying to shoot sports indoor in a dark enviornment. For that you will need an expensive 70-200 2.8 lens or a fast prime. However, for general use, it's very decent. However, don't expect professional image quality from this budget lens: D It's a great way to learn how to use a certain zoom range before delving into a more specialized lens series. But if you don't care about the specs and the small improvement in image quality (Between a 300 dollar lens and a 1500dollar lens) then you're good to go.
happy shootings.

The lens is a good match for the D3100, as is the 55-200mm VR lens.
The only limitation is that these are generally regarded as outdoor lenses. If used indoors, they might not gather enough light for low lighting conditions unless you use a tripod with a slow shutter speed.
The problem is that they don't let enough light in for low light conditions.
But for most situations they work well enough.
