Digital SLR cameras uses which SD cards?
I'm asking if slr camera use which SD cards: SD or SD hc, i don't know which one. The camera i'm talking about is nikon d3100 and the other one is connon eos rebel t1i
SD and SDHC are basically the same, the only difference is that the capacity of SDHC is 4GB to 32GB. HC is high capacity, btw.
Both are recent enough that SD and SDHC will work. Only cameras before 2007 you need to check.
D3100 will use either standard interchangeably.
While SD and SDHC *look* the same, the guts of the card are different. That is why old cameras can't see them.
There are SD cards made up to 4Gb, but they were few and far between.
