CANON POWERSHOT SX30 IS? OR NIKON D3100?

Please Help! I NEED TO KNOW! Haha: D sorry caps lock was on lol

The Nikon is a DSLR with a larger sensor, for image quality it'll blow this particular Canon out of the water.
The Canon can take decent shots, but is limited to a fixed lens.
It depends whether you want to play or take photography seriously.

Your looking at two totally different types of cameras, both good at what they're meant for. The SX 30 is a point and shoot "bridge" camera. The Nikon D3100 is an entry level DSLR. I have both and use the SX30 90% of the time because I'm tired of carrying around ten pounds of camera and lenses.
