Canon, Nikon or Sony?

I'm looking to buy a new DLSR Camera. I'm a beginner so I don't need something super fancy, but I'm a fast learner. I'm look between the Nikon D3000, the Canon Rebel T2i or the Sony A33. What are your opinions on these cameras. Most of my pictures will be of my children playing and running around.

Go for the canon T3i it is the same as canon T2i but some small defenses like you can move the screen and flip it, and plus it have the same price as the canon T2i, trust me when you are using it you will fell like a pro.

I'd go with the Nikon.

Canon T2i i have one and i love it

Skip the Sony they stand behind, way behind their product. Also give a look at the Pentax Kx it is a great beginner's camera, plus the lenses are reasonably priced. The stabilization feature of this product is built into the camera body. You do not have to pay extra when buying another lens that has stabilization, since of course you don't need it. The field of view is clean and uncluttered which I like also.

Sony A33.
It has a 100% coverage electronic viewfinder, the fastest video auto-focus you can get, auto-HDR, sweep panorama, multi-shot noise reduction and quick-focus live-view. It takes every Sony and Minolta AF lens made since 1985, as well a third-party lenses from Tamron, Sigma, Tokina and CZ etc.
It is miles ahead of the D3000 and T2i.
BUT, wait until April. There's a rumour that the A35 is being announced. You will then either pick up the A33 cheaper, or buy the new A35.

I'm voting for the D3000
- Sony Nex 5 versus Sony Alpha A500, which takes better pics in simple shoot modes?
- Sony Nex C3 or Sony HX9V?
- Are sony slr cameras good? Is sony a good brand?
- Are 50mm lens of any company like nikon, canon or sony same in performance? Or nikon's 50mm are better?
- Which camera should i choose? (Nikon D5100, Canon 60D, Canon 600D, or Canon 650D)?
