Canon 60D good for Live concert shooting?
So I've been thinking about upgrading from a better camera than I have now which is the Nikon d3100. My photography is focused mostly on live band performances and I was looking for a camera that was also good with video. I've been considering purchasing the nikon d5100 also. Any opinions? Is the 60d going to be good for low light situations?
The equivalent Nikon is just as good and will mean you won't have to replace your lenses and flashgun.
I'm surprised they're letting you away with it, since all DSLRs are seen as professional and not permitted in most venues.
Your main problem is, that without a press pass, you won't get access to the areas you need, and without a decent lighting and audio rig, you'll always have problems with video.
Camera
Yes but the only problem is virtually all venues consider a dslr to be a professional camera and will either take it from you at the door and return it after the show or tell you to return the camera to your car. There are copyright laws you know.
