Canon 50D and the nikon D90 camera
Ok i have looked at both cameras and have been to hold them i like the canon 50d it just feels better in my hands but the D90 is also a very good but just not feel as comfortable i'm not sure now which to get any help please.
I would suggest you wait for a few months and test the Nikon D7000 and Canon D60 when they are both available. They are the next generation cameras and should have some amazing features not found on either the D90 or 50D
The single most important aspect of buying a dSLR is how it feels in your hands.
You have answered your own question.
I adore my D90, but if the Canon feels better, get it.
It's not enough just to hold it, weigh it in and see how comfortable your hand is to the camera. Check the viewfinder too. See how comfortable your eyes are with a Pentax K-x. That's one of the brightest viewfinders you'll ever see on a dSLR.
Rumour has it that the D90 is about to be replaced so unless you can find it really cheap would hold off on that.
The 50d was a "miss" for canon. The nikon D90 has far outsold it. I'm not sure what people find confusing about the D90 menu. I have no issues at all navigating it. Between the two cameras I would buy the D90 again.
