Can you take more than one picture on self timer?

I'm using the nikon d3100… Is there any possible way to take more than one picture at a time when it is on self timer!

What you need is a remote shutter release like the Nikon wireless remote, under $20

Check your manual. I can on my Canon 450D. I can take up to 10 photos at one time on a self timer (found out the hard way when trying to do family pictures, lol).
