Can the Nikon d3100 take more than one photo while using the self timer?
One you first set the self timer, it will only take one photo. Is there anyway to make it take more than one photo while using the self timer?
No there isn't. You could use an IR remote.
No, dslr cameras, or any digital camera that matter with a self timer, only takes one photo. For burst you'll have to do that manually.
Apparently, the Nikon D3100 does not allow you to take more that one shot using the self-timer. The good thing about most Canon compact AND dSLR cameras is that they DO in fact, allow multiple shots to be taken (from 2-10) when using the self-timer function. My old XSi does. So does the T1i (Jim obviously hasn't read his manual)… Right up to the latest model 600D.
But yours can't, so you will need to buy a remote control. They're not expensive.
Let someone else take the picture.
