Can i take photos and have them come up on my mac as i take them?
I have booked a studio and my camera is a nikon d3100 and i would like to plug it into my mac and have the photos come up as i take them. Is this possible? Is there a type of software i can download or a setting?
Nikon software does not support tethered shooting - as it is called - for the D3100.
http://www.diyphotobits.com/ has their own capture control software on their site for free download and I believe this may work as it works on the D3000.
One solution is to use the Eye-Fi, which is a Wi-Fi-enabled SD card that automatically transmits the images to your computer.
