Can I take a camera into a one direction concert?

Help! I just got a Nikon d3200 for my birthday. And I was wondering if I could take it to the one direction concerts with me. Do they even allow that kind of camera?

What does your ticket say?
Most warn that fully adjustable still cameras (unfortunately called pro camera whether they are or just entry level dSLR cameras like you D3200), video cameras and sound recorders are prohibited from the concert venue.
Only mobiles and P&S cameras are allowed into concerts.
If you were to sneak your camera into the concert and were later found using it to take photos, they could "trespass" you, confiscate your camera and remove you from the concert. Usually the consequences for using such devices in the concert are listed along with the list of prohibited devices. Some include arrest for "criminal trespass"

If you don;t mine not being allowed in or having it confiscated by all means take it.

Bot likely. I believe Live Nation does the promotion for One Direction. They are ruthless when it comes to anything that looks vaguely professional.

It doesn't matter. In the unlikely event that you manage to get it into the concert in the first place, you say that you "just got it" which implies that you don't know how to use it well yet. So any footage you get, be it video or still, will be of poor quality. You may as well just go and enjoy the concert, if such a thing is possible with a band like "No direction".

No it's a DSLR. They consider that a 'professional' camera (never mind that most people who get one aren't anywhere near professional shooters).
It wouldn't be allowed in.

I would guess "NO" but why not read ypour ticket T&S's or contact the venue. That way you get a real answer not guesswork and supposition.

Nearly all concerts ban anything which looks remotely serious in the way of a camera. Any DSLR comes under that ban. As somebody else wrote - check your ticket for conditions.
