Buying polaroid camera?

I have a dlsr (nikon d90) and its so heavy, sometimes thats really inconvenient when being with your friends and i really like how instant and vintage polariods are, so i'm looking to buy a polariod camera with the most common film and stuff so its easy to maintain.around 40-50 dollars at the max and its gotta be worth the money. (since i spent it all on my nikon… ) xD
if you have tips for beginners than don't be shy.
(i notice the film can be expensive but is there really cheap stuff?) ehh.

You mean to say you don't find instant cameras bulky? While looking for a vintage Polaroid, try looking for film packs that you can use on it too.

You can get the old Poloroid "Colorpack Series" Polaroid Cameras on eBay for a song, or at auctions or garage sales. Many different models.

Fujifilm now makes instant film packs [color] that can be used in those cams.

Fujifilm FP-100C -- look for them at B&H or Adorama or Amazon. Replaces the old Polaroid 669.

Best choice for you is Fujifilm instax 7s instant camera. You can find one for around $60 at Amazon and Instax mini instant film is the cheapest quality film you can buy. There are new Polaroid 300 instant film but Fujifilm Instax mini film are better quality. Each exporsor will cost you around $0.75 - $1.
