Best setting for my nikon d90?
i just purchased a nikon d90, and i don't like the color, so which settings for family portraits? I would love the color to be bright and vibrant.

There's no magic button for your camera. You have to learn what all the buttons and functions do. Start by reading the manual.

short of that, the green square automatic mode typicallt gets it right most of the time.

Then there's the P mode. P stands for program.
- wb. Choose the white balance that makes white look white. Indoors floorcent etc.
- Ev. This controls adjusts the automatic settings. It tells the camera, you are making everything too dark. Make it lighter. Or vice versa
