Best lens for a beginner? - 1

I'm a beginner. For a Nikon d5100 which is the best best lens for a beginner to shoot wedding photography? Fstoppers suggests only f2.8 lens like 24-70mm and 70-200mm. I'm interested only in wedding photography and not in any other types like macro or food. Help me how can I learn which is the suitable lens for me to learn and how will I be able to come to a conclusions to buy the correct lens!

A beginner, you don't even know anything about lenses, and you want to do wedding photography? Does that honestly make sense to you?
You are putting the cart Way ahead of the horse. You need to be very skilled and knowledgeable and have plenty of back up equipment BEFORE you think about doing weddings. You don't learn by ruining someone's wedding.

Add a 50 mm f/1.8 lens to those two lenses and you will have the beginnings of a good wedding kit. You will want to have a second camera body and a good dedicated flash like the Nikon SB-700, a flash diffuser and flash bracket, you will be ready to go.
You will also need a handful of memory cards and spare batteries for the flash unit.
What is unstated is that you will also need a fast computer and a program like Adobe Lightroom 5.In addition, you will need to calibrate and profile your computers monitor from time to time to assure good colour management.

If you are a beginner, it is an act of extreme folly to present yourself as a wedding photographer. The mere fact of your asking this question shows how totally unready you are. Do not do this.
