Best fish-eye for my nikon?

I have a nikon d5100 and i'm looking for a fish-eye lens, not an adapter, i've been looking around and i have found a samyang 8mm. I just want some opinions and other suggestions, my spend is £200-300.

Well don't you just have some discretionary income in this economy. Ha. I don't think 200 will get you far. Try amazon.com for your best deals. Thats where I get all my stuff from.

The Samyang and Peleng fisheyes can be quite good, but often come with calibration issues. Be aware this may happen if you choose to get one of these.
It's more expensive, but you'd be better off with a Nikon fisheye such as the 10.5mm.

Don't buy the fish-eye, I have known people over the years who have bought one, and they play with it for about a week and then the newness of it wears off, and they never pick it up again. It one of the lenses that sounds way more fun than it turns out to be in reality.
