Are the GorillaPod's any good?

Just wondering if the GorillaPods are any good?
I have a Nikon D90, and i usually use a 50mm lens, so its pretty light.
What are your views on the GorillaPod?

I prefer a manfrotto superclamp with camera stud & microball head myself

Are they good. Well, they're well made so in that respect they can be considered good.
Personally I think they're a bit of a niche product. Yes, you can fold it around a lot of things but try to imagine scenarios where you'd do that. Compared to that a normal tripod is a lot more verstatile.
