Aperture doesn't change on Nikon D90, using 24-70mm 2.8 VR? - 1
Added (1). Hello, I own a Nikon D90, and the stock lense doesn't have a problem changing the aperture, but I have recently bought new lense, 24-70mm 2.8 VR, the aperture doesn't change. It says that it's compatible, Please help.
What mode are you using?
Make sure that you have the camera in the Manual mode so you can control both the lens aperture and shutter speed.
My guess is that you either have the camera set to some Program mode or in Shutter Priority mode which will NOT allow you to also control the aperture manually
Try another lens and if possible, try your lens with another camera. If you are sure the aperture does not change with your lens, bring it to the service center.
