Will the above lens auto focus with low end Nikon cameras like a Nikon D3000?

Yes -- but that's not "internal focusing," it's having an integrated focusing motor, which it does.
Spend the extra $75 or so and get the "APO" version of the lens from Sigma… It's much better, and a very good bargain.
