Does Canon have DX type lenses for there cropped body's?
Like with Nikon they have DX - cropped FX- full frame. So on Canon is it the same thing between there FF and cropped camera's?
Yes. The EF-S lenses are designed for the crop body.
He's right.
But be careful, though. Nikon's full-frame bodies adjust automatically when a cropped-sensor lens is attached (as will the forthcoming Pentax K-1) to use a smaller sensor area - Canon's EF-S lenses can't be fitted to full-frame bodies as they protrude too far and foul the reflex mirror (a VERY expensive repair).
EVERYBODY allows full-frame (AF film) lenses to be used on cropped-sensor bodies.
Yes, but unlike Nikon, you can't use Canon's cropped lenses on their full frame cameras.
Lets make it simple.
EF-S lenses are for Canon crop sensor bodies ONLY.
EF lenses are for both crop sensor and full frame Canon bodies.
Nikon FX = Canon EF
Nikon DX = Canon EF-S
Please make an English correction. You need to correct 'there' with a 'THEIR,' which indicates 'possession. 'Bodys' does not have an apostrophe.
