When the Nikon 16-85 F4 will come out?

Or if ever? I've been looking for a lens to replace my kit lens 18-55 vr. I would like a fast lens that produces good bokeh and decent zoom range without sacrificing the wide angle.

No, f4 is not a fast lens.

If you want fast wide angle lens you'll have to buy one of these:

Nikon 16-35mm 2.8
Nikon 17-35mm 2.8
Nikon 17-55mm 2.8

If you want more range you'll have to get lens like these:

Nikon 24-70mm 2.8
Tamron 28-75mm 2.8
Sigma 24-70mm 2.8
Sigma 24-70mm 2.8 macro.

I have yet to hear any rumors about a 16-85 f/4, so check your sources… There's a 16-85 variable aperture that is fine for your needs.
