Canon to nikon lens adapter?
Is there canon eos lens adapter to nikon? I've got some canon eos lenses but want to know if i would be able to put them on nikon.
I don't know but let me know if it works.
You might be able to find one 3rd party. Check www.fotodiox.com as they have a lot of them.
However, at minimum, you will alter the focus range and the lenses will not focus to infinity. Second, you will only be able to use the lenses in manual exposure and manual focus mode.
And you will likely find that the image quality will suffer somewhat.
You would be better off selling the lenses, then buying the ones you want that are designed for Nikon cameras.
The answer to your question is yes, there are adapters that allow a Canon lens to be fitted to a Nikon camera, the problem is that you can only use the 'manual' mode on the camera… It isn't something that I would recommend someone to do that doesn't understand what they are doing… It makes taking pictures more difficult… And is technically not worth the hassle… Or the expense.
No.
The Canon EOS mount is wider than the Nikon F mount. For that reason it is possible to adapt a Nikon lens to a Canon body. It prevents adapting a Canon lens to a Nikon body.
