Canon cameras, photography, and lenses?
I'm sort of interested in photography. I recently entered a contest to win a bunch of things, and one of them's a Canon camera lense. I was wondering if the lenses work on any Canon camera. And also, what camera would you buy? Canon, Nikon, Polaroid… And could you provide a link?
Greatly appreciated.
NO Polariods
Canon and Nikon both make excellent cameras, but if you win a Canon lens, you need a Canon camera to attach the lens
No, not all cameras take all Canon lenses. If it an EF or and EF-S lens it will work on the current Rebel line from the t3 to the t4i. You can look them over here.
Canon lenses only fit Canon DSLRs - they're called EOS (number) D or, 'Rebel,' in your neck of the woods.
You mention high quality "named" cameras like Canon, and Nikon. But Polaroid, please that is a no, no!
Since you obviously do not know much about cameras, why on earth would you want to win a Canon lens? In order to use any lens of this type you need a camera body. Canon camera bodys start at about $550.00.

Hope Canon's web site gives you enough information.
