Camera BatteryProblems?

I just took out my dads camera from over 15 ears ago and the battery didn't seem to work. I tried buying a new one and after allthe work to finally find one that would work it STILL doesn't work. The battery has a charge and everything so i think its a prblem with the powerr reaching the camera… Is there any way to fix it? Its a Nikon FG. Do i need to buy a new camera body or is it fixable please help.

If the camera has been stored that long and I assume the original battery was still in it, there could be connection problems. Over time these connections can rust and become useless.

Your best bet would be to take it to a professional to look over to see what's actually happening in side the unit… Could be something else critical to the camera's operation has failed. Certainly none of us can tell you what's wrong - that'll take a professional tech person.
