Best wide angle lenses for real esate photography?

I decided i will probably become a real estate photographer. I have a few questions though. I'm looking a wide angle lens i can use that isn't over $200 that i can learn with. I don't know if that is realistic, but if it is, i need recommendations on what lens to buy. I have a nikon d3300. Might be getting a d3400 though.

And besides the lens question, can someone give me a list of equipment i need to buy to get started? I won't actually be working as a photographer for a few years so i need something to learn off of that i can afford right now. So any help is appreciated

I'd imagine the kit lens is already enough for this. Wider than that will cost you and much wider would result to image distortion.

If you really want the best though, a perspective-control tilt-shift lens is THE best. This one avoids the second problem above but definitely not the first.

That's why I'd stick to the kit lens. You'll just have to find the best corner to shoot from to get the maximum view but then again, where will you find a flash that can cover that much? Well, this might help a little but not on the wide part.

At only $200, you're looking at a used lens. Go to keh.com to see what's they have used. Once you have a short list of lenses, go to photozone.de to check out the sharpness of each lens.

You'll want to get Adobe Lightroom because it offers a great catalog system, can correct for lens distortion which you'll need on just about every single image, and it has powerful editing options too.
