Are there any reasons to not get a nikon lense with this adapter for my camera?
I have a canon rebel t2i. I want to upgrade soon, but i'm leaning towards getting a nikon. Nikon lenses are excellent. Canon, so-so. I would rather buy a Nikon lense. (50mm 1.8) Are there any reasons to not get a nikon lense with this adapter (below) for my camera?

I know canon has a 1.8, reasonably priced, but it's very cheaply made.

Before the switch that may be a good idea. Though you may not be able to auto focus with it on the canon body. As far as the cheaply made 1.8 yes it is which is why I bought the Canon 1.4. For me the 1.4 is better because it lets more light in. The best lenses are always going to be more expensive. Do more research before your next purchase to know what equipment is right for you before you purchase it.
Two months ago you posted a question concerning 135mm film cameras that don't even exist. Now, without providing any verifiable evidence, you claim that nikon lenses are superior to Canon lenses. You are either completely clueless, or this is a joke…
If you use a lens adapter you lose lots of functions such as auto-focus and automatic aperture control. It will be a disaster and nothing like using the right lens for your camera.
Your claim that Nikon lenses are better is simply not true. Just buy the Canon 50mm f/1.8, or if you have some extra money, get the Canon 50mm f/1.4.
