18-105mm vs 18-200mm lens?
Which one is better? I'll be using this lens for a rather long time (Nikon) I mean at least a year.
I hear advantages and disadvantages but I'm not the sure.
Which one and why?
Both are versatile, which is better?
Also keep in mind, I'd rather get the not as well (if the difference isn't major) than get the better one in one area with a MAJOR disadvantage.
I hear 18-200mm the lens creep sucks!
The focal lengths of the lenses tell it all
The one with the longest zoom range will be most versatile, that should be obvious.
The disadvantage of the shorter 18-105 mm lens is how short it is. If you need the 200 mm reach, then that is the disadvantage of that lens.

What have you been reading?
I have been using the 18-200 mm VR lens since it as first introduced. I have NEVER experienced lens creep. Even if if did have lens creep, so what. A disciplined shooter will be in control of the lens all the time they are shooting an assignment.
Nit-picking can make any piece of photographic equipment look like it sucks, even a $40, 000 Hasselblad.
I use the 18-200 mm VR for about 90% of the editorial assignments I shoot. It works just fine
Neither. I'd stick to the 18-55mm kit lens and get a 70-200mm as a telephoto lens.
If you look for a longer range of focal length then 18-200mm is quite a good choice, but if you look for much sharp image, fast focusing then I will not prefer both 18-105mm or 18-200mm. I can buy 55-200mm VR lens for better output.
