Would like your opinions on some pics I took?

So I have been taking a lot of flower pics lately and would like some feedback on them. I will mark which ones were taken on the cell or with the Nikon. Please don't be harsh, but constructive criticism is welcome. I think my composition has improved over the last couple of years and I hope you like them.

They're all pretty nice. Maybe try a nicer camera with a better focus, if it's what you're really interested in.

I would say your composition still needs working on. You have placed your subjects dead centre and have very cluttered backgroudns in most of them.

You are not going to get a shallow depth of field with a cellphone camera, so make sure the background is 'clean'.

The lighting is a little flat in some - you need o udnerstnad light & how to use it.

Also consider some more interesting viewpoints (ie the tulip shot from above is not particularly engaging - a better view might've been getting own at ground level.

The photos taken with the Nikon are far… Far… FAR better than the phone shots. Your photos are a good example of what we keep telling people here, that a phone is NOT a real camera and can't produce the kind of results that a proper camera can do. Your (Nikon) photos are looking good, but still, they are flower photos. If they are photos YOU enjoy having and seeing, that is great, but there are zillions of flower photos in existence. Do not expect to sell them or have any other commercial use or critical acclaim from them. Shoot what you enjoy though, and they actually are better than many I have seen!
