Will this Adapter work with this lense?

So pretty much i wanna buy this adapter for my Nikon V1 http://www.ebay.com.au/...0753881786
But i need to know if this adapter will work with this lense ( Nikon DX VR AF-S 18-55 mm) ?

The adapter will allow you to put the AF-S 18-55mm lens on your camera, but that's about it. It will not support any of the lens' automatic functions, which means that you won't have access to metering or autofocusing. You won't even be able to set the lens' aperture with that adapter, because the AF-S 18-55mm is a G lens and requires electronic communication with the camera body to set aperture values.
You'd be a lot better off if you purchased a 1 NIKKOR VR 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6 for your V1 instead.
