Why are people so against teens with cameras? - 1

Instagram.
That's where it mostly blew up.
But i'm just wondering why people are so uppity about them taking picture with a Nikon or whatever. Like if they want to experiment with a hobby of photography, who's to judge? Maybe they feel better when they post their pictures to instagram with a clever caption and get 'likes' it's just whatever. What's with all the hate?

That's just society. People judge teenagers because we're… Well… Teenagers!
They think we're irresponsible and stupid.

I'm not against teens with cameras. I'm against any beginner who posts photos online, asks for critiques, and then gets all bent out if shape when they are told that their photos look like they were taken by a beginner. Those people just happen to be teens.

I don't know of anyone who is against them.

I think sometimes people get offended when people refer to the images as "typical teen snapshots," however, that is because so many of them are. There's a certain style extremely popular among younger photographers that feature everything from the shadow cast by lawn furniture, to duck-lipping in the bathroom mirror.

However, identifying a photo as typical, or even bad, is not the same thing as "hate."

Not against teenagers with cameras. Against teenagers with cameras who think they're photographers because they have an expensive camera and take pictures of makeup.

Bulling has been a major problem in our society and i think its stupid. I know everyone has bullied someone in there life at least once, it could be as simple as calling someone a name. There's a lot of ways you can bully someone. There are cyber, verbal, abusive and many more. This needs to STOP! There's many people hurting so much inside because of this abuse that are not needed.keep your bad thoughts to yourself.
