Costco also has the D7100 as a bundle with 2 lenses and some other stuff.

That camera is somewhat upmarket, so you would need to look for a specialist camera store. Some answers suggest Costco and Fry's Electronics but those do not sound like specialist camera stores to me.

I think the option for you is online. You can browse some online portal where DSLR cameras are available in different brands like Canon, nikon, sony and more at discounted prices. Some of the website like Amazon, Snapdeal, Flipkart offering best DSLR camera.

Well my feeling it that t least at Costco you can pick up a camera and "feel" the weight, view thru the viewfinder (critical)and see if it "fits" you. However if you know cameras, I purchased a refurbished Canon Powershot SX10 camera, from Amazon and I'm very pleased with my purchase. I choose the SX10 over the SX20 in that "video" enhancement did not mean anything to me. NOW as far as I'm concerned I would not own the SX10, as I tried the Pentax X-5, it is easy to operate and sharp as tack. When I purchased my Pentax Kx, I also used Amazon. But I regret my purchase in that had I looked around perhaps B&H Photo or Adorama would have had the camera and the 50-200mm lens in a bundle where by I could have saved a $50.00 bill! I would go Costco on the D7100 + 2 lenses, etc because they are near me and as long as you KEEP THE BOX AND All THE PACKING nothing could be easier if an exchange or refund became necessary. If Costco is not available to you then B&H Photo and Adorama would be my next choices, then Amazon.

Comment on camera stores, yes this very sad but it is our own doing. Such as getting the information we need and then buying the camera on line or at places like Costco.

Amazon.com (charges sales tax! Booo Hiss!)
bhphotovideo.com or adorama.com- (no sales tax! Woo Hoo!)
Nikon mandates the minimum advertised price for their gear, so all authorized dealers will post ads (in paper or online) with exactly the same price. If you can go to small independently owned shops, you can possibly negotiate a better price. I called a shop that was out of my area and did this over the phone saving me about 10%. Big online places like those listed above are way too big to offer any kind of discounts to their customers.

I think Frys Electrionics carries them in stores. It would probably be easier and cheaper to buy it from amazon or bhphoto honestly.

Why not look on line?
there are plenty of camera suppliers available there. Amazon for one usually have competitive prices and good reviews.
