You're going to have lots of trouble finding a film camera like the 60D because it's a digital camera and doesn't use film. If you want film, oh man… Talk about expensive. If you want video then there's lots of them in the Rebel line as in the t3i, t4i, t5i, t6i.

The Canon EOS 60D is a digital SLR. It is designed to capture digital stills to flash memory. It has a secondary convenience feature that allows video capture to flash memory. The competitor (Nikon, Sony) dSLRs do the same. There's no film involved. There's not taking the exposed film out of the camera in a dark place or sending out for processing at a lab… Generally, will nearly all dSLRs, when video is captured for a prolonged period - anywhere from 15 minutes up to about 25 minutes, the dSLR will overheat and shut down until it is cool enough to use again without damaging the electronics inside. And most of this is known and published in the manaual. Audio can be a problems with the internal mic, so an external mic is nearly always needed and the good mics use an XLR connector, so a XLR adapter is recommended.

If video (and audio) is important, use a camcorder. If still images are important, use a dSLR - at least until you get some experience… If the dSLR footprint is required, then the Canon EOS Cinema Cam is a good choice.

Video, not film. Try the 2-digit Sony alphas. The SLT is supposed to be better than the dSLR when it comes to video. If you want better, get a digital camcorder. Really good ones start at around $1000.
