Trying to make a music video on money. I have the gopro 3 camera

I want shoot video but I'm so so clueless on how to do it. I have a degree in Audio engineering so this is a different hobbie for me. I have been on youtube and the web site. This is what I have to shoot movies with The Gopro Hero 3, Nikon Lpix110 which shoots in 720 dp and a ipod 4th generation. I have Sony Vegas pro 11.
Where can I go to get help. What is frames per a second and what is better wide shots or medium? What are some good setting on the Gopro? If anyone has any good info please share thank you.

Frames per second include how many frames your camera is pulling in a second… The higher the fps… The more detail you get, but you'll lose the movie feel. Most movies are filmed at around 24 fps. Wide shots and medium shots can only be better than the other in certain situations. If your just starting I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest you search for "Film Riot" on YouTube. Hope this Helped.
