Looking into buying a new camera. I need to decide between the Sony a77 or a Nikon D7100?

Also would the NEX 6 or 7 provide the same image quality of the above? I'm would like to be able to make prints that go on my wall. I'm assuming all of these are ok for that. I'm open to possibilities. If there are better cameras please tell me.

You may find that the huge number of Nikkor lenses may make the D7100 a better choice if you intend to build a large camera system

In the end, you need to spend some time in a proper camera shop, examining each of those cameras

The D7100 has been voted by the EISA and TIPA associations as the best camera of the year 2013 - 2014. Have look at their sites to see why they made this choice.

I'd go with the Nikon.

The cameras you mention are enthusiast level. Before you spend that sort of money you must go to a proper independent camera shop and spend some time trying them out. When you are looking at cameras at that level, the thing that makes the most difference to the quality of the photography is the skill of the person behind the camera.
