What is the original 50mm lens that came with the nikon fm2?

Nikkor lens*

My Nikon FM came bundled with a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8. The FM2 was equipped with the same lens.

My information is that the camera sold body only and you had to order a lens with it or separately. The manual uses the 50mm f/1.4 lens in most of its explanations so that would be the default lens.

It was your choice, you could buy it body only or with;
50mm f1.4 AI/AIS Nikkor (expensive)
50mm f1.8 AI/AIS Nikkor (normal price)
50mm f1.8 Series E (budget)
50mm f3.5 Micro Nikkor (specialised and expensive).
Camera and lens would be boxed separately and your dealer would give you whichever one you were willing to pay for.
A LOT were sold with the 50mm f1.8 series E, but far fewer with the micro-nikkor.
- If I were to sell my Nikon FM2 (silver) with original 75mm zoom lense?
- What type of film should I use for a Nikon FM2 50mm 1.4?
- I just purchased a Nikon D5000 camera. It came with an 18-55mm VR lens?
- Sent in my Nikon lens for service, came back with dust on the inside?
- Have a Nikon D7000, think I want a Canon 5d (original) instead?
