Nikon 60mm AF-D f2.8 macro or Tamron 90mm f2.5 macro?

I'm a huge fan of the Tamron 90mm… I don't use tele-converters as a rule and picked up my 90mm with Tamrons SP x2 converter and it delivers great results.

I'm in the process of updating my lens collection (it's over 30 years old) all Tamron manual lenses… And that 90mm is going to take some beating… I'm still deciding whether to take the leap into autofocus or stick with the manual glass… I don't shoot in AF if the image quality is superior though I'm going to have to make the investment.

I'll chuck in another option - the Sigma 50mm f2.8 macro (or the 105mm f2.8 macro, depending what working distance you want) - Sigma make excellent lenses.
