Nikkor 18-200mm or Sigma 18-250mm?

I'm going to be using this lens on my Nikon d3200 for travel and general all around shots. Right now I can get the Nikkor 18-200mm for $350 (slightly used, very good condition) and the Sigma 18-250mm for $350 (new). I have used the Nikkor 18-200mm a few times and generally like it except the fact it is a little on the heavy size and like other lenses it has barrel creep (which I don't mind too much). I haven't used the Sigma 18-250mm so I can't say anything for that one. Which one would you purchase and why (please list some pros and cons) thanks!

I have not use the Sigma 18-250 but I have not had the best of luck with Sigma lenses. Mine started to slip on focus so I traded up for Nikkor I wish I would of skipped that step and went for the real thing, as it would of been cheaper

My wife is very happy with the Sigma 18-250 on her Nikon D5100. The close focus feature is good (they call it macro, but it's not proper macro). It's a good all-round lens. On the down side the zoom is the opposite twist to Nikon lenses, so you might find it frustrating if you own multiple zoom lenses.

Honestly, you will probably be happy with either. I would however go with the Nikon because I believe the A\F will work a little better, especially in low light. I have had Sigma lenses, and I liked them. I now have all Nikon lenses and the focusing in low light is noticably better and a faster.
