Is my Nikon lens compatible with a Canon?
More specifically it's a Nikon 35mm f/1.8G NIKKOR DX AFS Lens, and the canon is a rebel t5i.
Of course not - and adapters are more trouble than they're worth.
Your lens only fits Nikon DSLRs.
It could be mounted on a Canon EOS body with adapter. It will not work with the cheapy-cheap adapters, because it is a G lens with no aperture ring, you would need one that has a switch for accessing the lever at the back of the lens.

You will lose autofocus, autoexposure, and metering.
No. And I wouldn't suggest the pricey adapter.
Never.
Yes, but you'll need a $270-300 adaptor from Novaflex for that, so it's not really worth it for a $170 lens. You'll lose autofocus and most metering coupling.
