I want to find the best Nikon lens I can for shooting film that I can also zoom with?

I'm looking for a really high-quality Nikon lens to shoot films on that I can also zoom with, as most recommended lenses don't allow this and I don't want to be getting right into the actor(s) face during shooting. Cheers!

That would probably depend on what film camera you have. Film cameras today are considered old school with digital cameras dominating the market but many people still use them.

Film is an expensive media to be in. If you already own a film camera, be it 16mm or 35mm, you should get in touch with the maker to discuss lens options.
