What lens to use for full body potraits in studio?

So I have 3 D FX nikon lenses 24/35/50. I will not be shooting them on my 35mm F5. I want to use the 35mm lens on my D90/D2H. Would that be suitable for a full size potrait? I have converted my living room for the shoot and have muslin backgrounds up and lighting. Also after the muslin I only have another 7-10 feet so I'm not sure if I could use a longer lens. I do have the kit lens 18-105 that came with the d90. Also i'm not using a tripod.

I'm currently using my 24-70 f2.8 on a full frame (5DMkII) but I find it a smidgen too wide still.

I'm thinking a nice 100 f2.8 or an 85mm f2.8 would be better or a 70-200 f2.8 but that beast is too heavy and you don't need the ability to zoom for studio work.

My 24-70 f2.8 or a nifty-fifty on a cropped sensor would work fine.

Try your 50mm… Should work fine.
