I wanted to buy a spare battery (EN-EL15) for Nikon D800. I searched on local stores and they are selling it in $99. Whereas Amazon.com is selling it in $58 and even in $19 (by Digi Electronics). I want to ask that is it save to buy cheaper from Amazon.com? Save means will I get geniune and original battery in $58 or $16?
P.S. I never buy anything from Amazon.com so is it always reliable to buy stuff from Amazon?
Please take a look on these amazon links.

Some of these batteries are made by companies other than Nikon, although the ones you have linked to seem to be genuine Nikon product. Generally, third-party batteries work fine - they will not hurt your camera, but occasionally you will get one that your camera can't "communicate" with. All that means is that the camera can't warn you when the battery is running low, but if you have a fresh battery in your pocket, it isn't much of an issue. I have been using these 3rd party batteries professionally (in Canon DSLRs) for years and have never had a problem.

I see that some of the Amazon ones are marked "refurbished" - they are second hand, have been collected worn out, and rebuilt/refilled etc. I have never tried a remade battery, and at the price, I would avoid them.
