My photo's don't look the same on different (colour) on different computers?

I have a nikon d7000 and i shoot using automatic settings, I've noticed my photo's aren't the same colour on different computers, is this just the computers screen resolution or should i start shooting using manual setting?

This is completely normal. All screens differ in the sense that the colours they display vary. This is particularly noticeable if you compare different TYPES of screens. For example LED screens show colours quite differently to plasma screens.

It has to do with color profiles and the monitor calibration/settings. Also, some monitors (especially the cheap ones) are not so accurate with actual brightness and color. It also depends on a monitor's color gamut range.

That's normal, and to be expected.

It's not possible to make photos look the same on all computers, you'd need to calibrate every monitor or computer screen in the world - which is a physical impossibility.

To get photos to look the same on your own computers, you need to calibrate the monitors you own.

As BK said, you need to use a calibration device on YOUR monitor so you will at least know it is correct. How the colors look on any other monitor is irrelevant and something over which you have no control. Here is an excellent, easy to use device to calibrate your monitor:
