Is the Nikon D3200 good?
Is the Nikon D3200 good?
The Nikon D3200 is an entry level dSLR, yet its sensor out performs all the other APS-C sensored camera but for the D5200.It (the sensor) even out performs many full frame cameras
The D3200 is in a price range that is not usually associated with high performing sensors.
Probably the best entry level camera out there for the price.
The Nikon D3200 is a perfectly good entry level DSLR. The images it produces will only be as good as your knowledge of correct exposure, composition and lighting.
It's just another ho-hum dSLR from Nikon. Will it get the job done? Yes. Anything special? No. Ignore ace, he goes around talking about how great the sensor is because he does not know how to interpret DxOmark.com scores.sensors with higher pixel counts cheat the test for noise in low light.
In reality, the best APS-C sized sensor dSLR is the brand new Pentax K5 II.
It would be best to avoid both the Nikon D3200 and D5200 if you don't care for noise in your images in low light. Stick to the Nikon D5100, D3100, Sony A57, Pentax K 30 or the Pentax K5 II.
It's the bottom of the range. In the hands of a skilled photographer it's capable, but it's never going to beat the top of the range products is it?
All I can fairly say is that it's a capable camera.
The Nikon D3200 is for "Megapixel masterbators" Ohh It has 24MP IT MUST take good pictures… LOL
Buy The Nikon D3100 and save yourself around £100 GBP
I will say it again.
YOU DO NOT NEED 24MP
No matter how great the specs are…
