The lens that came with it is 18-55mm but it's not good to take really up close distance shot's, can anyone recommend which lens/'s to buy to take up close distance shot's?

Close up shots are taken with macro lenses. Usually, they are quite expensive. Nikon has one that is reasonable, $280, the 40mm micro (Nikon calls the micro, everyone else calls them macro).

Have you tried the close up mode on your camera? It's explained on pages 25-26 of your manual.

I'm confused by your use of the term "really up close distance shots". What do you mean by that?
Do you mean you want to bring distant objects closer to the camera - ie get a close up shot of a football player from the back of the stands? If so you need a telephoto lens or telephoto zoom lens. Something in the region of 50-200 or 70-300.

Or do you mean really close objects so you take a photo of a single small flower or bug that fills the photo? If so you need a macro lens as described by retiredPhil.

It sounds like you need a telephoto zoom lens.
If you don't want to keep swapping lenses there's a Nikkor 18-300mm.

or for less money a similar Sigma or Tamron one in Nikon fit:

These all-in-one lenses have their sweet spots so don't expect it to be eqaully pin sharp throughout the entire range of focal lengths.
