How to get the images off my CF memory card?
Nikon D2H DSLR. New CF card, formatted in camera. Images play in camera (I believe jpgs?) but, when connected to laptop via USB or via card reader, it says card is empty. Also happened when I took it into photo store and put it in their photo printing machine. The images are there! How do I get them on to my computer: o(.
Have you formatted the CF card correctly? You believe JPEG but you may have used RAW.
Would strongly suggest that you check your instruction manual!
ALWAYS useful to read the manual and check at camera settings.

verify that you have images set to Card and not internal memory,
verify software is install and tools are loaded for sync transfer,
then go through steps in manual page 223 / 224 - 225
