What lense can I get?
I have been looking for a great lense for my upcoming photo shoot, I really want something nice that I can use anytime to make this easier… Anyone know what type of lense this photographer used for these pictureshttp://www.stylemepretty.com/australia-weddings/2012/07/10/bohemian-inspired-photo-shoot-by-teeki-photography-by-nadean-chanele-rose-flowers-makeup-by-megan/
I have a nikon d5000.

The most used lenses when shooting fashion or wedding portraits are these two.,
24-70 mm f/2.8 and 70-200 mm f/2.8
Nikon and Canon are the systems most used by the pros, however you can find the same or similar lenses for use with Sony or Pentax camera systems
Don't trust a doctor with a "stefoscope"
Don't trust a dentist with a "dril"
Don't trust a cook with an "ovin"
Don't trust a teacher with a "blakkboard"
And don't trust a photographer with a "lense".
Not sure what was used there but you should invest in a Lens that will suit all of your photo taking needs. If you are shooting weddings a small zoom of 18-200 will cover the field for the most part. You should also have a 10-20 mm wide Lens for group shots. Buy a lens that is as fast as you can afford. Sigma makes a nice 10-20 that has a continuous f-3.5 throughout the range. This is a great lens at about $600 bucks and you will find that you use it more than you might think. I like Sigma lenses for the quality and the price. I shoot Canon and have found that Sigma lenses do a better job at a much Cheaper price than Canon Lens. Hope this helps and good luck. Ed
